Job Description: Following a recent review of international activities we have exciting roles available within our growing network of regional offices around the world as we look to invest further in developing our presence in key international markets. The MENA Regional Office forms a new part of our regional office network, which is part of the University’s Communications and External Relations Section (CER). CER is responsible for: Student recruitment Marketing Admissions Philanthropy and alumni relations Communications and stakeholder engagement Regional Manager – Middle East and North Africa (MENA) based in Dubai This is a new role within our Regional Office team, based in Dubai and with responsibility for developing and implementing the University’s strategy for the Middle East and North Africa. Primary areas of responsibility will be achieving student recruitment targets, regional stakeholder management, and managing delivery of localised marketing activity. Within this, the post holder will play a key role in developing and maintaining relations with partners in the region, including institutions, agents and sponsors. The role will initially be based with our partners, Future Bridge Education, on a three year fixed-term basis with the option to review and continue beyond this. The post holder will need to work independently but as part of a globally connected team.
Requirements: This role would suit someone with experience of working UK HE, who has experience of working in this region, who is excited by the challenge of helping us build our presence in this region and who is excited about the opportunity to be based in the UAE. Candidates should be able to demonstrate initiative as well as experience, strong organisational skills and a data-driven approach to planning and implementation. In addition, they should also have a strong knowledge of the region and of working with multiple recruitment channels in including agents, institutional partnerships, sponsors and digital marketing. The recruitment and business development elements of the job will require frequent local and international travel within the region. Travel to the UK and to other regional offices will also be required from time to time.
