Visa Support Officer
Job Title: Visa Support Officer

Job Summary: Responsible for the provision of immigration and visa advice and support to students.
Job Description: The Visa Support Team is seeking to appoint two Visa Support Officers, one to cover maternity until 8 March 2019 and one to cover a 6 month fixed term contract. The Visa Support Officers will be responsible for the operational provision of immigration and visa advice and support to current and prospective students and for issuing CAS letters. They will be required to provide advice and guidance to prospective applicants (to improve conversion) and to provide support to existing students (to improve retention). The Visa Support Officers will be required to work flexibly as part of the team to cover caseloads and to support the International Student Adviser with international student induction.
Requirements: The post holders will also ensure the University's continuing compliance with UKVI regulations affecting international students through the delivery of the University's Visa Support action plan, and by working closely with colleagues across the University to ensure compliance with Tier 4 visa conditions. Due to the nature of this work, annual leave is restricted during August and September.
